AT Clash of the Titans 2022

I’ve been pretty horribly unwell recently – pretty much out of action since the week before Christmas – I’m assured I’m now through the worst and am on the up and up, and so it feels like time to return to the blog with an update of sorts.

Towards the end of 2022 BattleBling (purveyors of all kinds of 3D printed AT goodness) started a Clash event.

Clash is an opportunity for people to set pledges, aims or targets – however you want to phrase it – and work towards achieving that aim whilst also providing support and encouragement to the rest of the community. It really is that simple and wholesome.

Clash started whilst I was working on both the Fureans Corsair maniple (still on the back-burner so I haven’t included them) and the Vulcanum Extergimus.

With only a few weeks remaining of Clash2022, I finally made my first post to Instagram using the # and everything – turns out, I have painted quite a few titans in the period.

I’m not going to post individual titans – in spite of how much I love them all and they deserve it – but I will split them by Legio.

Vulcanum

It feels fitting that Vulcanum both started and finished out my Clash offerings – the minimal Extergimus with Direwolf support maniple I started with has grown of late with a Ruptura maniple that I completed with the intent of fielding them at Frozen Voids.

Titan count: 3 Warlords, 2 Warbringers, 2 Reavers, 1 Direwolf

Vulpa

I started Vulpa after getting my behind handed to me at Warfare2022 by them and figuring I should have at least one of the ‘Melee Legios’.

I’ve played Vulpa, at this point, as much and more than any other Legio and figure that I’ve got enough of an understanding of them to run them at the upcoming Twisted Titanicus 2.0 event soon. I’ve a Direwolf to finish and 2 Reavers and 4 Warhounds.

I really enjoyed painting and creating these 100% GW parts so this will be the Legio I use for any official tournaments going forward.

Titan count: 1 Iconoclast, 1 Warlord, 3 Reavers and 1 Direwolf

Tempestus

As LSW is attending Twisted Titanicus 2.0, she needed her own Legio and, having jow started playing test matches, I can confirm she is a terror.

Whilst she has a Psi Titan, I haven’t finished painting that as yet, so she will be running the Storm Swarm (TM) list she has come to love (Lupercal and a Venator with a Direwolf swapped into both).
